I'm Fabio Ninic, born in Vienna in 2001 — a passionate filmmaker. My fascination started young, shooting skateboard videos. My dynamic, colourful style combines handheld and wide-angle perspectives with music.
I love the old-school look of mini-DV tapes. I have experience in commercial and indie productions, but right now I'm focused on music videos.
As the in-house filmmaker of the Vienna funk band Butter Bread, I document their shows and tours. I've also realised several projects with the b-boy crew UFA.
What matters to me is that everyone on set has fun during the shoot — that energy carries straight into the videos.

This website does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies or its own server-side cookies. No personal data is collected, stored, or processed on the operator's server. The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus); standard server access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) are written by the hosting provider and retained for stability and abuse prevention only. Lawful basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Logs are not merged with other data and are deleted on Hostinger's standard retention schedule.
Embedded videos (YouTube): When you press Play Tape or open the secret tape page, a video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). YouTube's "no-cookie" mode does not set tracking cookies until you actually start playback. As soon as a video plays, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies. Lawful basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR — your consent given by clicking play. Data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States (transfer safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses + EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Embedded videos (Vimeo): Some clips on the work page are hosted on Vimeo (Vimeo.com Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA). Vimeo thumbnails (vumbnail.com, Vimeo's image proxy) are loaded the moment the page renders, so Vimeo receives your IP address as soon as you open the site. Once you press play, the full Vimeo player loads inside the lightbox and may set cookies. Lawful basis: thumbnails — Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in showing video previews); player + cookies — Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (your consent by clicking play). Transfer to the U.S. is safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Privacy: vimeo.com/privacy.
Contact form: The "Book a Shoot" form is processed via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co, operated by Devro LABS). When you press send, the form fields you fill in (name, email, optional phone, project type, date, message) are transmitted to FormSubmit, which forwards them to Fabio's email inbox. FormSubmit does not retain the messages permanently. No data is written to a database on this site. Lawful basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures at your request. Data is retained in Fabio's inbox for as long as needed for the booking enquiry, and at most 24 months. If you'd rather not use the form, write directly to fabio.ninic@gmail.com.
Fonts: Web-fonts are self-hosted on this server (no Google Fonts CDN, no external font request). No personal data is shared with third-party font providers.
